Overnight Stocking Manager

About This Role

This role is for an Overnight Stocking Manager responsible for overall team member engagement, driving operational excellence, and financial results within the North Detroit Market for Meijer. The manager will develop leaders, manage department operations, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage with team members, providing onboarding, training, development, coaching, and feedback.
• Identify talent and conduct career discussions to build a diversified talent pipeline.
• Lead candid discussions with team members to uphold Meijer standards and foster growth.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, executing corporate plans to maximize sales and productivity.
• Manage budget line items in the P&L and drive safety and compliance.
• Ensure Team Leaders and Leads provide guidance, assign daily work, and address training needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience, progressive leadership experience preferred.
