This role involves stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and food items, ensuring products are labeled and fully stocked at a BJ's Wholesale Club location. The position also includes maintaining a clean and organized club environment by removing trash and debris.
Responsibilities
- Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and food in the club
- Ensure all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked
- Maintain the neat and clean environment of the club by removing all trash and debris
- Maintain display signage for all products
- Create labels and/or apply merchandise sales tags to items
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
Nice to Have
- Previous grocery/stock experience
- Big box/wholesale retail experience
