Over Night Auditor

About This Role

The Night Auditor is responsible for completing all Night Audit work, balancing daily transactions, generating required reports, and maintaining proper record keeping for a resort's front office functions during the third shift. This role involves comprehensive guest service during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispose of all Night Audit work
• Perform all Front Office functions on the third shift
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily
• Balance the day’s work including movie revenue, telephone postings, valet laundry, servers, and desk agent’s paperwork
• Generate all reports as required for Food and Beverage audit
• Maintain proper record keeping (e.g., log books) according to standards
• Complete initial direct bills and place them on the Property Accountant's desk
• Attach all folio/banquet check backup to the bills
• Handle and follow through on all guest requests during the third shift

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to give high priority to customer service
• Excellent communication skills with ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to solve problems with minimal guidance
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• PC Skills and Microsoft Office experience
• Ability to easily and frequently change from one activity to another while operating a switchboard or computer keyboard

Qualifications

• 1 year of Front Desk or Hospitality Guest Service experience

Nice to Have

• Accounting systems knowledge
• 1 year accounting or Night Audit experience
