Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers in the Commercial/Mechanical sector for a leading supplier of quality industrial supplies. Identify new business opportunities and devise sales strategies to contribute to the company's growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, ensuring satisfaction with products and services from order to delivery and beyond.
- Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the current customer base by working with management to develop sales strategies and target new accounts.
- Perform various duties including product quotation and problem resolution.
- Analyze competition in the territory, devise sales strategy, and communicate sales strategy to management.
- Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field.
- Document all sales activity performed in Salesforce for ongoing evaluation of the new business pipeline and measurement of sales closure results.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years industry related sales experience
- Results oriented
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Problem solving, leadership and listening skills
- General digital literacy
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years industry related sales experience is preferred
