Outside Sales Account Manager - Mobile Fluid Power Solution Sales / OEM

About This Role

SunSource is looking for an Outside Sales Account Manager to drive sales of mobile fluid power solutions to OEM customers. This role involves full-cycle prospecting, collaborating with internal teams, and utilizing technical knowledge to solve customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Create a sales plan with leadership to develop prospect lists, maintain current business, and capture new opportunities
• Conduct full-cycle prospecting activities, including lead qualification, cold calls, and sales presentations
• Utilize mobile hydraulic sales and product application experience to assist customers with equipment and operation needs
• Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals
• Utilize resources and tools such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory

Requirements

• 2+ years industrial sales experience selling off-highway mobile fluid power solutions focused on OEM customers
• Ability to establish and maintain business relationships
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year technical diploma or equivalent training and experience, Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
• 2+ years industrial sales experience selling off-highway mobile fluid power solutions focused on OEM customers

Nice to Have

• Fluid Power certification
• Product application and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic systems
