Outside Sales Account Manager - Fluid Power Service and Repair

About This Role

This role involves developing new business and managing existing customer relationships for fluid power service and repair within an assigned territory in West, TX and surrounding areas. The Account Manager will focus on prospecting, sales presentations, and achieving growth targets.

Responsibilities

• Work with manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
• Successfully build and maintain long-term business relationships
• Perform full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
• Regularly make in-person sales calls to existing customers and new prospects
• Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed goals
• Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of industrial sales experience
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Demonstrated experience achieving and/or exceeding sales goals
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent, 2-year technical degree preferred
• 2+ years of industrial sales experience, with preference given to experience within fluid power

Nice to Have

• 2-year technical degree or better in fluid power programs or similar discipline
• Fluid Power Certification
• Previous sales experience selling mobile hydraulic service/repair
• Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment of both mobile and industrial machinery
