Outside Sales Account Manager

About This Role

This role involves developing new business and managing existing customer relationships within an assigned territory, focusing on industrial component service and repair. This position is ideal for a driven salesperson ready to build upon an established territory.

Responsibilities

• Create a sales plan with manager to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
• Successfully build and maintain long-term business relationships
• Perform full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
• Regularly make in-person sales calls to existing customers and new prospects
• Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed goals
• Utilize tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or GED
• 2+ years industrial sales experience
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED
• 2+ years industrial sales experience with preference given to experience selling repair services within electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and/or mechanical components.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or engineering
• 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, mechanics or related field
• Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment of both mobile and industrial machinery
