About This Role

The Outpatient Physical Therapist Float at AdventHealth is responsible for providing expert physical therapy services, documenting patient progress, and engaging in community and physician outreach to build referral relationships.

Responsibilities

• Document and charge accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures
• Participate in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards
• Support consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community

Requirements

• Doctorate
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
• Physical Therapist (PT) licensure
• Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) licensure
