Assist caregivers in the Operating Room (OR) by transporting patients, maintaining sterile instrument sets, and setting up the OR for neuro/spine procedures at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain surgical instrument sets and equipment, ensuring proper sterile conditions
- Provide limited assistance to surgeons (e.g., holding limb/retractors, suctioning, sponging wounds)
- Clean used instruments after surgery, including assembly and maintenance for proper sterilization
- Ensure proper sterile conditions, order supplies, and stock/maintain storage areas in the Operating Room
- Assist in transporting patients
- Assist RN in maintaining a safe environment for the patient
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
Nice to Have
- Sterile Processing Certification
- Two years of experience in sterile processing
