Oversee and optimize daily branch operations, focusing on process improvement, team leadership, and financial performance. Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards while driving continuous improvement through data analysis and effective resource management.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current operational processes and workflows to identify efficiency improvements and implement changes.
- Manage and supervise staff, providing training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Execute weekly and monthly labor planning, monitor expenses, and allocate resources efficiently to meet financial targets.
- Ensure proper procurement and sourcing of products from preferred vendors and manage inventory levels.
- Facilitate equipment tracking, auditing, usage goals, and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure operations comply with industry regulations and company safety standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), report operational progress, and use data for continuous improvement.
- Ensure operations support excellent customer service and jobsite quality.
- Lead or contribute to operational projects aimed at improving the business and achieving growth goals.
- Oversee the allocation of resources, including staffing, equipment, and technology, forecasting future needs.
Requirements
- 2 or 4 year degree in a landscape or business-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years in construction or landscaping industry
- Minimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and programs including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, FSM, BrightPath, MFP/WAR calls
- Experience with mobile applications and software including but not limited to, retrieving email from a mobile device, accessing, and using mobile applications, taking, and sharing pictures
- Demonstrates ability to function successfully in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to create and foster a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- 2 or 4 year degree in a landscape or business-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years in construction or landscaping industry and minimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry
Nice to Have
- Qualified Applicator License (Pesticide or Fertilizer)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
