The Operations Lead supports store processes and an active selling culture, ensuring all operations meet documented company standards to drive sales. This role is responsible for opening and closing procedures, training, task delegation, and maintaining ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution and operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot, condition, and ensure housekeeping while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with Company timekeeping policies, meeting labor model standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.
- Plan and execute the daily/weekly zone workload and assign tasks to deliver on store, department, sales goals, and guest engagement.
- Support the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience.
- Drive productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
- Leverage daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics that support the customer experience.
- Participate in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions.
- Process freight, sort and stock products on shelves, including down stocking and end cap maintenance, while maintaining a neat, clean, and organized store.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs.
- Ability to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times
- Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior
