The Operations Coordinator supports daily operational execution by aligning staffing, payroll, training compliance, logistics, and administrative workflows with organizational standards. This role reinforces a culture of accuracy, accountability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Verify daily crew rosters across all active locations to ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll compliance
- Partner with Operations Managers to conduct pay period reviews and ensure payroll authorization aligns with established protocols
- Lead weekly workforce planning activities, including roster development, PTO coverage, and staffing adjustments
- Coordinate post-orientation placement and assignment of new hires, including work location, supervisory contacts, and start logistics
- Partner with Safety and Compliance teams to track and maintain mandatory training requirements
- Monitor training expirations and proactively address compliance gaps to avoid operational disruptions
- Serve as a point of contact for light-duty vehicle coordination, maintenance requests, and asset tracking
- Assist Operations leadership with review of Samsara violations and documentation
- Prepare disciplinary, corrective action, and payroll-related documentation in UKG with Operations Manager approval
- Compile operational data and contribute to weekly KPI and performance reporting
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends as business needs require
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
