Oncology Case Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Services

About This Role

This role involves coordinating oncology patient treatment plans, resolving issues, and serving as a resource on patient care. The Nurse will also develop programs, policies, and community referral relationships for oncology patients.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external resources to plan, set up and coordinate oncology patient treatment plans
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of clinical services for oncology patients
• Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to oncology patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies, and procedures
• Design, evaluate, and recommend program and policy development
• Develop and maintain relationships with community referral resources

Requirements

• State of Michigan RN license
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school
• 5 years of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred)
• 5 years of nursing experience required; 5 years of oncology experience preferred
