Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About This Role

Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our growing team across 23 urgent care centers in Northern Virginia. This role involves providing high-quality urgent care services within a physician-led organization and an integrated care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients
• Seamlessly coordinate care with specialists, primary care, and other services
• Potentially serve unique populations including underserved communities, LGBTQ+ patients, HIV/AIDS patients, and concierge medicine
• Utilize innovative technology including a robust telemedicine platform

Requirements

• Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice or post-master’s certificate program (NP) or Graduate of accredited PA program and NCCPA certification (PA)
• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
• BLS Certification
• Licensed NP or PA in Virginia
• Signed Practice Agreement and Scope of Practice/Protocol
• Successful completion of payer credentialing (Medicare/Medicaid)
• Medical Staff credentialing for clinical privileges

Qualifications

• Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice or post-master’s certificate program (NP); Graduate of accredited PA program (PA)
• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
