Join Concentra's patient care team to provide exceptional care, improve the health of America's workforce, and make a meaningful difference as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role involves primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within an occupational health program.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients and compile medical data.
- Administer or order diagnostic tests such as x-rays and laboratory tests.
- Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
- Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
- Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
- Assist in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers.
- Ensure accuracy in completing tasks and performing quality assurance checks.
- Maintain accurate, concise, timely, and complete documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in related health field from an accredited college or university
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university
- Board Certification
- FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date
- DEA required prior to start date
