About This Role

Join Concentra's patient care team to provide exceptional care, improve the health of America's workforce, and make a meaningful difference as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role involves primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within an occupational health program.

Responsibilities

  • Examine patients and compile medical data.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests such as x-rays and laboratory tests.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and ensure continuity of care.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers.
  • Ensure accuracy in completing tasks and performing quality assurance checks.
  • Maintain accurate, concise, timely, and complete documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in related health field from an accredited college or university
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university
  • Board Certification
  • FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date
  • DEA required prior to start date
