This role involves providing essential patient care activities as a State Registered Nurse Aide, working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the personal needs and comfort of patients at Spring View Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Perform selected patient care activities
- Provide various patient care activities and non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of clinical services
- Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures
Requirements
- State Registered Nursing Assistant certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- Capable of physically assisting patients and dealing with patient emergencies
Qualifications
- HSD or GED
