About This Role

This role involves providing essential patient care activities as a State Registered Nurse Aide, working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the personal needs and comfort of patients at Spring View Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform selected patient care activities
• Provide various patient care activities and non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of clinical services
• Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures

Requirements

• State Registered Nursing Assistant certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
• Critical thinking skills
• Decisive judgment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Capable of physically assisting patients and dealing with patient emergencies
