Non-Certified Ski Instructor

About This Role

Teach ski and snowboard lessons to guests of all ages, providing world-class service in a safe and fun environment within a mountain resort setting. This role also supports various resort operations, contributing to a "one-resort" mentality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality ski instruction to groups and individuals
• Provide world-class guest service in a safe and fun environment
• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all needs of the snow sports school, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, and fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers
• Work across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one-resort mentality

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must be comfortable and competent skiing on groomed blue terrain
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Strong communication skills
• Must be willing to work weekends/Holidays
• Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended period of time
• Successfully complete training and meet minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards
