Network Technician

About This Role

Support and manage network infrastructure and related devices, performing maintenance and troubleshooting in an onsite contract role in Minot, ND. This position involves direct interaction with network hardware, patching, and responding to incident tickets.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ServiceNow incident tickets
• Install and recover patching cables
• Install power leads
• Install, remove, or swap equipment
• Locate and identify network circuits and tag demark locations
• Provide escort services for Company third-party vendors or subcontractors
• Adhere to risk management processes, including walkthroughs, work permits, and change management
• Comply with Company's audit, information protection, security, and operational excellence standards
• Perform IMAC activities for end-user business LAN and voice devices

Requirements

• 6+ years experience supporting/managing network infrastructure
• Experience with Cisco and fiber
• Experience in racking, stacking, cabling, and decommissioning network hardware
• Experience in Site Services support for network device maintenance and support (console/remote)
• IT/Telecoms experience with routing, switching, firewalls, WiFi, IP Telephony, and RF equipment

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience on supporting and managing network infrastructure and network related devices
