This position is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and operating complex computer systems, networks, applications and/or distributed systems. The role involves analyzing problems, resolving and routing issues, and supporting Systems Management Processes for a 300mm client.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, control, and operate complex computer systems, networks, applications, and/or distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment
- Analyze first and second level problems for all systems
- Resolve and route problems as appropriate
- Support the Systems Management Processes specific to 300mm client requirements
Requirements
- Highly skilled in Linux, Windows, and Unix Server Operations
- Some application knowledge
- Level 2 problem determination skills for server and applications
- Knowledge of hardware installs
- Knowledge of rack installs
- Operating system install knowledge
- FAB application knowledge
- Monitoring Software experience
- Ticket management experience
- Hands-on server operations skills and support
Nice to Have
- Skills comparable to assisting a Systems Administrator
