About This Role

Support the mission of Piedmont HealthCare by providing high-quality, patient and family-centered care as a Mental Health Tech. Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission of the organization as a member of the multidisciplinary team
• Provide individualized patient and family-centered, holistic and supportive care in a safe and caring environment
• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Provide care and interaction to patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment
• Function as a member of the therapeutic team as designed by Piedmont Behavioral Health policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• BLS - American Heart Association certification
• Crisis Prevention certification within 60 days of hire

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• None

Nice to Have

• B.S/B.A in behavioral health sciences
• Experience in Behavioral health and/ or addictive disease
