About This Role

Support the organization's mission by providing high-quality, individualized, patient- and family-centered care as a Mental Health Technician under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Function as a member of the therapeutic team
• Ensure individualized, patient and family-centered, holistic, and supportive care
• Maintain a safe and caring environment for patients

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) Certification
• CPI certification within the first 90 days of employment

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• 1 year in a mental health or acute care setting Preferred

Nice to Have

• Vocational or Technical Degree such as Emergency Medical Technician
• Associates Degree
• 1 year in a mental health or acute care setting
