About This Role

The Medical Office Specialist provides clerical expertise to ensure patients receive high-quality, efficient care, managing front office functions and assisting with medical records and co-pay collection.

Responsibilities

• Manage all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones
• Manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information
• Assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge) including balancing the day in the computer

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical office setting is preferred

Nice to Have

• One year of experience in a medical office setting
• Experience using an EHR system
