Medical Laboratory Technician

About This Role

Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests across multiple departments, applying clinical laboratory science theories to produce reliable results for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests in Blood Bank, Coagulation, Hematology, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Chemistry
• Utilize professional judgment during multi-step testing techniques
• Apply theories and techniques of clinical laboratory science, including evaluation of quality control data
• Produce reliable test results to aid clinicians in diagnosis and treatment

Requirements

• Associate's degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician
• Registered or eligible by ASCP or AMT
• Ability to pass basic FIT test (walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, sitting for extended periods)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
