About This Role

The Medical Assistant II, under delegation from a licensed practitioner, performs duties to assist in providing patient care, functioning at a fully competent level in all clinical needs for the assigned location, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients
  • Function competently in all clinical needs and functions for assigned clinic/location
  • Perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants or registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or equivalent military medical training or 1 year of MA work experience
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • 6 months of Healthcare experience
  • 6 months of Medical Assistant experience

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. 6 months of Healthcare experience. 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
