About This Role

This role involves assisting senior residents with daily living activities, medication administration, and maintaining accurate records to ensure their needs are continually met.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene
• Communicate with other healthcare staff and department personnel; relay information concerning resident’s condition
• Maintain written records and documentation as required
• Maintain communication with the residents, their families, support personnel, etc.
• Assure that the residents' needs are continually met
• Assist residents with the administration of medications according to company protocol and state regulations
• Maintain records (MARs/TARs) for each resident with regard to medicines ordered, received, and administered

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and kind
• Heart for working with senior adults
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Good organizational abilities and communication skills
• Independent, energetic, creative, and have a pleasant approach
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
