Supervise and coordinate all site Mechanical/Piping construction projects, ensuring day-to-day activities are executed safely and efficiently. Oversee project scope, work crews, and maintain quality standards on the North Slope of Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities at various job sites
- Responsible for site organization and accountability of project deadlines
- Management of overall project scope and work crews
- Report on employee performance, working conditions and productivity
- Ensure safety equipment is available and maintain safe working conditions on a job site
- Monitor employees to ensure compliance with federal safety mandates and company safety regulations
- Verify workers are using provided safety gear
- Inspect job sites to identify and correct possible safety hazards
- Responsible for maintaining quality of work produced by employees
- Perform activities of workers supervised on an as needed basis
- Supervisory responsibilities for assigned personnel
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR ten (10) years Mechanical/Piping Superintendent experience
- Minimum five (5) year directly related Mechanical/Piping Superintendent experience in the construction industry
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum five (5) year directly related Mechanical/Piping Superintendent experience in the construction industry, or ten (10) years Mechanical/Piping Superintendent experience will be considered in lieu of diploma/GED.
