Material Coordinator

About This Role

Support the NAVAIR Command Property Office Warehouse Optimization Project as a Material Coordinator by providing logistical support for inventory management and physical material expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform receipt, stow, issue, and ship, along with other basic warehouse functions
• Perform physical inventories in accordance with client policy
• Perform material coordination efforts to organize and position assets in accordance with client policy and operational requirements
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (training to be provided)
• Keep Nakupuna project leadership team abreast of any issues of potential impact to achievement of contract deliverables or accomplishment of client mission
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and on-the-job safety requirements

Requirements

• Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills
• Good physical condition and can occasionally travel
• Valid state-issued vehicle operator’s license
• One (1) year experience in DoD or commercial services logistics, supply, and physical material inventory procedures
• U.S. Citizen, pass background investigation for base access

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• One (1) year experience in DoD or commercial services logistics, supply, and physical material inventory procedures is required

Nice to Have

• MHE license
• MHE operator's Medical Examiner’s Certificate or proof of current medical examination
• Experience with the Navy supply system
• Experience with Navy ERP
• Active SECRET clearance and/or a current Common Access Card (CAC)
• Valid passport
