Implement and deliver high-quality ESL education services to K-8 students in a small group setting, collaborating with school personnel and parents to ensure academic success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students
- Plan and deliver effective instruction in a small group setting
- Administer pre and post assessments
- Consistently track student progress and data
- Manage classroom effectively
- Escort students to and from the Title I classroom
- Provide a safe and positive learning environment
Requirements
- Active and valid fingerprinting with NYCDOE
- Experience working with ESL students
Qualifications
- Experience working with ESL students required
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Title I students
