Manager Trainee in Training

About This Role

This is an entry-level, full-time position designed to prepare you for a leadership role within 84 Lumber by providing hands-on training across all aspects of store operations. The role aims for promotion to a management position within 6-12 months, with potential for further advancement to General Manager roles.

Responsibilities

• Learn Sales and Customer Service to support customers and drive sales in a retail store environment
• Oversee material/supply chain flow, stock, and merchandising through Store Operations and Inventory Management training
• Create material estimates for building projects using Blueprint Reading and Estimation skills
• Operate forklifts safely with Forklift Operation and Certification
• Gain knowledge in Payroll, Invoicing, Inventory, and Financial Analysis through Business Management training
• Enhance Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Interpret and analyze common financial reports
• Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Full-time availability (48+ hours/week, overtime included)
• Willingness to relocate for a management position

• No experience is required
