About This Role

Act as a production/warehouse associate responsible for pre-hanging door assembly, operating power tools, and maintaining equipment within a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a production/warehouse associate and assembler, working on a pre-hanging door assembly line
• Routinely maintain equipment on the warehouse assembly line
• Act as a machine operator, utilizing power saws, air nail guns, staplers and other tools needed to prep wood material used to assemble doors
• Perform forklift training, certification, and operation
• Load, unload, store and package production material from the warehouse as needed
• Monitor quality assurance throughout the production process
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe all safety rules posted in the warehouse

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information to others one-on-one
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
