Manage and develop a dedicated portfolio of high-value existing Business and Corporate customers through telephone-based interactions. The role focuses on expanding and retaining client relationships by identifying opportunities, providing solutions, and driving charge volume while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage a dedicated portfolio of high-value existing Business and Corporate customers within territory
- Proactively reach out to customers to uncover opportunities and treat them to align with growth or retention conversations
- Use consultative skills to maintain and develop existing customer relationships and substantially grow charge volume
- Maintain high knowledge about American Express products, processes, key internal partners, and tools
- Partner closely with Field Dedicated Portfolio Account Development team when a telephone-managed customer requires a face-to-face visit
- Partner with specialized sales team for product cross-sell (AP Automation) to entrench clients with American Express suite of products
- Ensure adherence to the American Express Code of Conduct and Sales Practices policies, standards, and procedures
Requirements
- 3-5 years minimum excellent sales experience
- Experience partnering with clients across various markets / industries
- Experience in a highly-regulated industry
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree strongly preferred
