Manager of Campus Ethics Programs

About This Role

This role manages and coordinates interactive ethics programming for undergraduate students at DePauw, including the Hillman Internship Program and the Ethics, Civics, and Leadership Program. The Manager also works to expand the Institute’s co-curricular programming.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director to determine the suite of ethics education programming to be developed and/or maintained for the DePauw undergraduate community
• Develop new programming for the DePauw undergraduate community
• Coordinate and manage the Prindle Institute programs that serve DePauw undergraduates
• Build connections with campus partners, including academic departments, faculty and staff, and other Centers to help ensure program sustainability
• Collaborate with other Prindle Institute staff to further the integration of DePauw undergraduate participation in other Institute initiatives
• Manage the Hillman Intern Program
• Manage the Ethics, Civics, and Leadership program for Prindle, Jordan, Sanger scholarship awardees
• Facilitate workshops as needed, especially those involving DePauw students
• Work any major Prindle Institute events (e.g., Prindlepalooza, High School Ethics Bowl)

Requirements

• Experience managing, mentoring, and encouraging students in co-curricular settings
• Familiarity and facility with the academic discipline of ethics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with the Prindle Institute
• Knowledge of MS Office Applications and Google applications
