About This Role

Lead and manage shifts at a Panera bakery-cafe, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and fostering a positive team culture. This role involves developing associates, managing team performance, and maintaining high standards for food safety and service.

Responsibilities

  • Build a culture of Warmth, Belonging, Growth, and Trust
  • Be an ambassador of Panera's Guiding Values and Behaviors
  • Ensure extraordinary guest experiences by delighting customers with food quality, service, and safety
  • Build engaging relationships to create long-term, loyal customers
  • Coach and motivate team to exceed bakery-cafe goals for sales, speed of service, and order accuracy
  • Train team on food safety standards and ensure they are maintained
  • Lead, manage, and develop associates through ongoing training and constructive feedback
  • Keep team energized and engaged by recognizing and celebrating achievements

Requirements

  • Worked in a Panera bakery-cafe for at least 90 days
  • Ability to direct, motivate, coach, and train others in a fast-paced environment
  • Certified in all positions on either a service or production track
  • Committed to food safety and health safety
  • At least 18 years of age
  • AOP Approval
  • Completion of Certified Manager Program (CMP)
  • ServSafe certification or able to pass
  • Submit to and pass a background check

Qualifications

  • At least 90 days working in a Panera bakery-cafe
