About This Role

Lead a team of Client Service Partners focused on retaining clients and managing relationships. Develop and execute strategic plans to drive renewals, growth, and profitability within an assigned region. Manage team performance, foster collaboration, and promote a client-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct a team of client service partners and sales service professionals to achieve business retention, renewal, and profit goals in an assigned region
  • Manage retention associated with a defined region and market channel
  • Create and execute growth and retention strategy for region, ensuring sales and service process rigor
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and prospective and current clients, gaining insights into their business and needs
  • Drive collaboration within the team, ensuring they work together to achieve success
  • Drive a client-first mentality within the organization
  • Hire, coach, develop, and mentor a strong team, including spending time in the field with sales and service representatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful accounts management experience
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience
  • Proven experience with full customer lifecycle - strategic selling knowledge, sales methodology, process
  • Ability to write a business plan

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business, marketing, sales, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of successful accounts management experience and Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience, preferably in customer success or sales.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the legal information/government affairs industry, electronic information industry, or with Bloomberg Industry Group
