Drive new business and revenue growth by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal close and renewal for corporate clients. Develop strong client relationships and collaborate with internal teams to provide world-class service.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales process, including discovery, value demonstration, proposal delivery, negotiations, and close, for assigned territory
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders and prospective and current clients, gaining insights into business needs
- Lead renewal process, including communications, proposal delivery, negotiations, and close
- Serve as single face to the client, facilitating support from other internal resources
- Collaborate closely with Client Service Partner to identify additional sales and growth opportunities
- Drive client engagement throughout the sales life cycle with regular account "health checks"
- Develop overall territory and account-specific strategies
- Build expertise around all sold products and conduct demonstrations for clients
- Provide monthly forecasting and accurately predict sales revenue
- Prospect key accounts and steer business development representatives towards them
- Work within CRM to document sales opportunities and pipeline
Requirements
- Knowledge of assigned market (e.g. law firms, tax & accounting, corporations)
- Proven ability to prioritize accounts and manage multiple projects and activities to meet business objectives and deadlines
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel within assigned territory
- Experience selling B2B products
- CRM proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business, marketing, sales or related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience in a business environment, comparable to Bloomberg Industry Group
Nice to Have
