Manager, Clinical Program Outpatient

About This Role

The Manager of Outpatient Clinical Program oversees operations and programming for outpatient PHP/IOP or IP programs at Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital. This role ensures efficient and professional services, high customer satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations and programing in the outpatient PHP/IOP or IP programs operate efficiently and professionally
• Provide a high standard of customer satisfaction
• Ensure programs are compliant with all laws, rules and regulations of federal and state licensing agencies, as well as TJC standards for quality care
• Monitor care coordination and quality of care to identify areas for improvement
• Oversee the work performance of all assigned clinical staff
• Ensure clinical documentation is current and accurate and meets all regulatory requirements
• Responsible for overall coordination of school, work or case management information for patients

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited school of social work or equivalent education/experience
• Current clinical or social work license per state regulations
• Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles
• CPR/BLS certification (within 30 days)
• Handle with Care certification (within 30 days)

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited school of social work or qualified by education and experience in social services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance abuse issues.
• Previous experience in an outpatient partial hospital program and/or IP preferred. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in an outpatient partial hospital program (PHP)
• Previous experience in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
