Perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating, and cooling systems. Maintain inventory, assist with cleaning and snow removal, and ensure facilities meet OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform or commission facilities preventive maintenance, repair, or improvement work
- Ensure facilities meet all OSHA regulations with direction from the safety manager
- Perform preventive maintenance on all production and support equipment and log repair history
- Troubleshoot and repair or commission repair of production and support equipment to minimize lost production time
- Perform maintenance and cleaning of outside facilities and new acquisitions
- Assist with 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and perishable items for breakrooms, bathrooms, and office needs
- Assist cleaning crew with daily cleaning, snow removal, and safety requirements
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a related position
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge and ability in troubleshooting, repairing, and specifying mechanical and electrical equipment
- Ability to work with all departments to understand their equipment & facilities needs and provide solutions
- Strong computer skills, data entry, and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a related position
