Maintenance Technician

About This Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and essential systems to provide a secure, functional, and welcoming environment for residents. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being of residents and the overall experience at Vivie.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, floor care, landscaping, snow removal, and remodeling to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to optimize safety and comfort.
• Inspect and repair hot water heaters, softeners, plumbing equipment, and pool systems, including monitoring pool chemistry.
• Maintain and troubleshoot fire safety systems, generators, sprinkler systems, and alarm panels, ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code procedures.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment efficiently.
• Physical capability to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to pass state-mandated background check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
