Maintenance Technician

About This Role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and repairs at a multifamily property, ensuring it operates and appears at its best. This role involves addressing work orders, proactively managing routine maintenance, and ensuring property cleanliness, including resident amenities.

Responsibilities

• Address work orders and perform repairs before issues escalate
• Conduct light carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and work on HVAC systems
• Proactively manage routine maintenance and general cleanliness of the property, including resident amenities
• Engage with residents in a friendly and efficient manner regarding unit and property issues
• Maintain a safe working and living environment with a safety-first approach
• Maintain own tool kit for completing work orders
• Utilize company-owned or personal vehicle for property movement or supply pick-up when necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality
• Prior experience in general building maintenance or painting, including general handyman work, light carpentry, electrical, or plumbing
• Prior experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in property management or hospitality, including general building maintenance or painting.
