Maintenance Technician

About This Role

Join The Indigo Road Hospitality Group as a Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep and repair of a hotel's physical structure, equipment, and grounds. This role involves performing maintenance and repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to guest requests, supporting a family-like environment focused on employee well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.
• Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.
• Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
• Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests.
• Practice chemical safety rules and follow procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.
• Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow all Lost and Found protocols.
• Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.

• Ability to assist in all maintenance duties
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to constantly stand and walk with occasional stooping, kneeling, ascending, reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience is preferred.
