Maintenance Technician

About This Role

This Maintenance Technician role involves performing a variety of repair tasks on containers, ensuring customer property is handled with confidence. You will utilize hand and power tools, operate forklifts, and contribute to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of repair tasks using hand and power tools with minimal to no supervision
• Complete general carpentry repairs, painting, caulking, cutting, and cosmetic container repairs
• Operate forklifts safely (certification provided if needed)
• Operate standard shop equipment and perform all required cutting operations safely
• Pressure wash and clean containers
• Safely rig and lift materials as part of repair work
• Move materials using hand carts and assist with staging and organization
• Follow repair instructions and technical guidance while exercising sound judgment in execution
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, inside and out

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in construction, building trades, assembly work, or a related hands-on field
• Proven experience using hand and power tools independently
• Ability to read and understand English in compliance with OSHA safety requirements
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to become forklift certified and safely operate material-handling equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in construction, building trades, assembly work, or a related hands-on field
