This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of a logistics facility, focusing on precision and operational reliability during the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly Fire Pump Churn testing
- Perform repairs and required duties on aerial lifts
- Execute rack or guard rail repairs as needed
- Paint lines on the floor
- Move internal fencing for layout redesign
- Activate and maintain Avidbot floor scrubbers, including preventive maintenance
- Perform monthly fire extinguisher checks
- Move furniture as required
- Install TVs, whiteboards, and other fixtures as needed
- Change light bulbs on the plant floor using a scissor lift
- Build holders for scanners on forklifts
- Train, coach, and manage associates in company policies and procedures
- Maintain proper and accurate documentation and records
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling/mobile equipment
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook, and RFID scanning equipment
