Maintenance Technician

About This Role

The Maintenance Technician ensures properties are well-maintained and residents are satisfied by performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks across various systems. This role requires exceptional customer service and teamwork to maintain a high-quality living environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism toward team members and residents
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, and filter replacements
• Repair and maintain plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical fixtures, carpentry, and other mechanical systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and concerns
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are safely stored to prevent injuries
• Partner with vendors for specialized work like landscaping and asphalt repair

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Proactive attitude
• Flexibility to work various schedules
• Strong commitment to customer service
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year previous maintenance experience, preferably in a multifamily setting

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as HVAC, EPA, or CPO
