The Maintenance Technician ensures properties are well-maintained and residents are satisfied by performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks across various systems. This role requires exceptional customer service and teamwork to maintain a high-quality living environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism toward team members and residents
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, and filter replacements
- Repair and maintain plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical fixtures, carpentry, and other mechanical systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and concerns
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are safely stored to prevent injuries
- Partner with vendors for specialized work like landscaping and asphalt repair
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Proactive attitude
- Flexibility to work various schedules
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year previous maintenance experience, preferably in a multifamily setting
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as HVAC, EPA, or CPO
