Maintenance Technician

About This Role

Perform general maintenance and groundskeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean work environment, promptly completing work orders and supporting apartment turnovers.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and effectively
• Assist with groundskeeping as needed
• Support apartment turnovers, including minor repairs, grab bar installation, toilet replacements, carpet/pad removal
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, hanging fixtures, replacing air filters, and conducting small carpentry or plumbing repairs
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment as directed by the Maintenance Director

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend at the knees, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience, property maintenance preferred

Nice to Have

• Property maintenance experience
• Experience in HVAC, mechanical, or plumbing
