About This Role

Maintain and preserve a luxury apartment community, ensuring a quality living experience for residents. Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems, while also managing makeready schedules and ordering supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and preserve a multi-million dollar luxury community
  • Utilize advanced troubleshooting and technical skills to identify and resolve technical issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, swimming pool and security systems
  • Develop a strong rapport with residents and assist them with resolving various general maintenance issues (appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, drywall, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Assist the Service Supervisor with preparing makeready schedules
  • Walk and punch all makeready units to ensure they are in top condition and ready to lease to prospective residents
  • Place orders with approved vendors for all necessary supplies and equipment
  • Help the service team maintain a strong curb appeal at the property
  • Be on call for maintenance issues as required

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related multifamily/hotel maintenance experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and general carpentry
  • HVAC/EPA certification
  • Fair Housing training

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related multifamily/hotel maintenance experience

Nice to Have

  • CPO certification
  • CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certification
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
  • Strong customer service skills
