This role is responsible for efficiently performing general maintenance tasks including service requests and apartment turnovers to maintain the property and provide a quality living environment for residents. It involves ensuring resident satisfaction and timely completion of repair work.
Responsibilities
- Ensure residents feel at home and well-cared for
- Timely complete all phases of apartment turnovers
- Troubleshoot and repair most major and all minor mechanical systems
- Perform basic appliance repairs and installation
- Handle plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting tasks
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in apartment maintenance
- Ability to speak, communicate, read, write and understand English
- Basic computer proficiency
- Understanding of building materials and tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Available for on-call services
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of two years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance
