Maintenance Technician II

About This Role

This role is responsible for efficiently performing general maintenance tasks including service requests and apartment turnovers to maintain the property and provide a quality living environment for residents. It involves ensuring resident satisfaction and timely completion of repair work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents feel at home and well-cared for
• Timely complete all phases of apartment turnovers
• Troubleshoot and repair most major and all minor mechanical systems
• Perform basic appliance repairs and installation
• Handle plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in apartment maintenance
• Ability to speak, communicate, read, write and understand English
• Basic computer proficiency
• Understanding of building materials and tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Available for on-call services

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of two years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance
