Maintenance Technician

About This Role

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will maintain and service all plant equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and resolve production challenges to ensure efficient operations. This role offers a pathway to leadership, focusing on continuous improvement and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety by leading by example, addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors, and supporting safety initiatives
• Support continuous improvement through participation in events and submission of improvement opportunities
• Perform maintenance on production and facility equipment, working both individually and as part of a team
• Read, analyze, and interpret schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area in compliance with 5S standards
• Respond quickly to service calls and interact professionally with colleagues
• Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work and order parts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Understanding and compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of relevant experience in an industrial setting

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, A/C (troubleshooting and repair)
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic
• Certificate(s) in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical
• High attention to detail
• Good basic math skills
• Associate degree in Industrial or Electronic Technology or Mechatronics
