Maintenance Technician

About This Role

Perform service duties and maintain the efficient operation, upkeep, and repair of property buildings. Ensure a professional appearance and adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Understand community rules, policies, and enforcement mechanisms
• Enforce, document, and report rule and policy violations
• Maintain the grounds and assist the groundskeeper daily
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy
• Care for, maintain, and inventory all property supplies and equipment
• Supply and uphold all personal tools required by Blue Magma Residential
• Clean work area, tools, and equipment
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies
• Be available to work on an on-call basis
• Secure maintenance shops at the close of every workday

Requirements

• EPA Universal License
• Minimum 2 years working in the apartment industry as a Maintenance Expert or above
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, inventory control
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to speak effectively with customers one-on-one or in a group environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working in the apartment industry as a Maintenance Expert or above

Nice to Have

• HVAC certification
