Maintenance Technician

About This Role

The Maintenance Technician I ensures the facility, grounds, and equipment are safe, well-maintained, and attractive by performing a variety of general custodial, groundskeeping, and maintenance tasks. This role adheres to Federal, State, and local standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs general custodial tasks including trash removal, window/wall washing, and moving furniture/supplies.
• Performs floor care such as cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
• Assists with building maintenance and construction work on all facility surfaces.
• Assists with grounds maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal.
• Assists with general repairs to facility and residents' equipment.
• Operates hand and power tools, and various machines for floor care, grounds-keeping, and maintenance safely.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a health care setting
