Supervise a team of equipment maintenance technicians responsible for ensuring equipment availability and performance in a precision machining environment. Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective supervision, training, and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve required equipment up time, repairs, and production goals
- Maintain department records and inventories
- Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate, and comply to ensure maximum quality
- Monitor to ensure all employees comply with safety regulations and the plant's safety program
- Work with employees to resolve technical and machine problems
- Schedule preventive maintenance to effectively meet production needs
- Provide shift-to-shift communication link to keep all team members working toward the same goals
- Maintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance
- Oversee equipment upgrades and refurbishment projects, coordinating with vendor support and ensuring accurate spare parts inventory
Requirements
- Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals
- Command of the English language, both written and verbal
Qualifications
- Four years or more of industrial maintenance supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Four years or more of industrial maintenance supervisory or similar leadership experience
- CNC machining, Casting or Injection Molding equipment experience
- High-volume manufacturing experience
- Strong preventive maintenance development experience
- Familiarity with reliability centered maintenance principles
- Hydraulics/Pneumatics troubleshooting using prints
- PLC troubleshooting or programming (Allen Bradley or Siemens)
- Lean Manufacturing experience
